Twinchie card and a Chrissy decoration!

Hello again everyone! :)

I have some lovely Twinchie art to share with you again today!

First we have this Twinchie and Christmas card from Vicky Fernando:

From Vicky:

"I stamped the Darkroom Door Christmas Words stamp for my background onto kraft card using red StaZon ink, and stuck it onto a 2"x2" piece of chipboard, trimming & sanding the edges. I then stamped an Autumn Leaves flourish stamp onto a red piece of Bazzill cardstock with Brilliance ink (Cosmic copper). I heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, and "coloured in" the flourish with a copper-coloured metallic gel pen".

"I then over-stamped my twinchie with the same flourish using Versafine (vintage sepia) ink, and clear embossing powder, again colouring in with gel pen, sticking it carefully in place with some double sided  tape. The edges of the red cardstock were inked with Brilliance ink and covered with clear embossing powder".

"I used a Collections chipboard tag, inking the edges with the copper ink, and added the word Joy (from the same set of Darkroom Door stamps). I attached some ribbon, and added some glass beads in red, green and blue, and some metallic embroidery thread. I layered the card front to some copper DCWV cardstock, sanding the edges to show the white core".

Gorgeous work Vicky!

Next we have this Twinchie and Christmas decoration sent in by Jen Sweatman:

From Jen:

"I stamped a window image from Paperartsy "Schooldays" plate 3 on grungepaper twice, inked both with vintage photo distress ink and trimmed the image to 2 inches square then cut out the windows leaving the frame. I added BasicGrey paper behind the windows of one frame and added my embellishments (American Crafts, grungeboard star, Papertrey Ink button and ornament stamp). I then mounted the second frame over the top using adhesive foam to give it a miniature shadow box look".

"I mounted onto a Christmas ornament box- a raw chipboard cube I have decorated using Paperartsy stamps and BasicGrey paper".

Lovely work Jen!

I know I say this all the time, but I think this is my most favourite challenge yet! It's so interesting to see all the different uses for your Twinchies!

Keep sending those entries in! :)
