Today's first entry is a lovely part favour which comes from Vicky Fernando (click to enlarge):
From Vicky:
"I wanted a quick & easy party favour bag for my daughter's birthday party so I thought what could be easier than a cone shape filled with lollies!".
"The cardstock is pink pearlescent Christina Re, & I've used a scalloped Nestabilities shape, an EK Success circle punch, and a Collections chipboard heart".
"The stamps are SeeDs (xoxo), Non Sequitur (butterflies), & Cherry Pie (bricks), & I've used Vivid ink (pink), Versafine (for the bricks), StaZon black (for the b`flies) & Adirondack (to colour the heart) & my crop-a-dile to punch the holes. The ribbon is actually torn satin fabric".
What an awesome party favour Vicky! I bet your daughter and her friends were thrilled!
Next we have a gorgeous Christmas card from Godelieve Tijskens of Belgium:
Godelieve has used stamps by Art Journey which she stamped with Memories White, and Versafine Vintage Sepia. A Fiskars border punch and Tim Holtz paper distresser were used to add texture and interest to her card.
So pretty Godelieve!
Next we have a great mini album from Marianne Verschoof of The Netherlands:
From Marianne:
"I began with a cream paper and folded it and did some cuttings, so you can fold into one square again. I used some photos of my sister and her children (this is for my sisters birthday), and made them brown on the computer. I matted the photos on brown paper".
"The rest I kept simple, because I think the attention has to go to the photos, and you can't put too much in, otherwise it becomes to thick when it is folded into one square".
What a lovely present for your sister Marianne!
Next is a yummy Christmas card from Stempelientje of The Netherlands:
Stempelientje used a Darkroom Door Plaid background stamp, and the other stamps are from Clear Art.
Stempelientje has used Copic markers for the colouring, and a Spica marker for the twinkle in the squirrel's eye.
Gorgeous Stampelientje!
I don't know about you guys, but I am LOVING this colour combination! Such a yummy, vintagey, shabby chic look! I love how the look varies too, when more of one colour is used.
OK - just one more entry for today - I'm gonna make you wait for the others until tomorrow!
The last entry for today was sent in by Willy Anderson of Spain:
From Willy:
"First I stamped background text (Crafty Individuals CI-258) on pink paper (Basic Grey-Two Scoops-Strawberry Smoothie) with StazOn Timber Brown ink. Then I twice stamped the hearts with stems (Paperbag Studios-Little Feet sheet)".
"Next I stamped heart (from hearts with stems), cake (Art Journey-Celebrate sheet) and congrats (Art Journey-Gorgeous Kids sheet) on cream paper, cut them out and glued them onto the card. I distressed the edges with Timber brown ink and glued the card onto brown cardstock".
Stunning card Willy!
I'll be back tomorrow morning to share some more new entries, so make sure you come back to see them! :)
