Gothic Arch Challenge #4 - Hands.

Hi everyone!

The long awaited next theme for our Inkurable Stampers 2010 Gothic Arch Challenge is HANDS!

Your task is to use hands as a design element or inspiration for your Gothic Arch.

Here is my example:

I used Kaisercraft patterned paper as my background.  I stamped the gothic sun shape (Green Pepper Press) onto the background with Scarlet Versacolor ink, and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I stamped the sun again in black ink on white cardstock, and heat embossed. I cut out the centre circle and stuck it onto the centre of the red sun. (Yes! I know it's upside down! I fixed it after the photo was taken! Ooops! LOL! Will take a better pic tomorrow!).

The hands (Green Pepper Press) were stamped in black ink onto white cardstock, cut out, and then adhered to the background. The word "Worship" is a sticker from Kelsey's wordsheets.

The red flourishes at the bottom are Kaisercraft rub-ons. To finish, I attached some beaded trim and some thin red ribbon to the bottom of my arch.

Now it's your turn!

When you're finished, upload your Gothic Arch to our dedicated Flickr Group, and don't forget to include info about how you made your piece - I could choose your arch to showcase here on the blog next week!

Please note that the Gothic Arch challenges are in addition to our regular monthly challenge. If you're new to the blog and you'd like to know more about our year-long Gothic Arch challenge, check out the details here.

Happy stamping!
