Last minute lovelies!

Hello stampers!

Our Lavender and Lime challenge has almost finished! Here are the latest entries.

This card was sent in by Lyn Smith:

Lyn says:

"I started my card with a piece of glossy magazine page, painted on some white gesso and sponged with Versacolor Heliotrope and Lime once it had dried. I then stamped my Darkroom Door images using Versafine Black ink onto the piece - the images are all from the Wildflower Vol 1 stamp set. I added a few Kaisercraft rhinestones to the middle image and the butterfly".

"I adhered my stamped piece onto some Stampin' Up Eggplant cardstock wrapped some lavender ribbon around the bottom half, then adhered the piece to some Bazzil Limeade cardstock. My card base is white cardstock layered with Stampin' Up eggplant cardstock and a piece of Kaisercraft Lilac Ave designer paper. I layered my stamped piece onto my card using dimensional squares. The word is stamped onto a scrap of the designer paper and layered onto SU eggplant cardstock, then adhered to the card".

Beautiful work Lyn!

The next entry is an ATC that was sent in by Jenny Rodda:

Jenny says:

"The background is oil pastel, stamped with Kaiser Bubble Wrap stamp and Jo Sonja's brilliant violet paint. Some sewing in lime thread, image from here, October Afternoon paper, text from Collections Elements and some doodling".

Very cool Jenny!

OK stampers - I'll be back in the morning if any more entries hit my inbox between now and midnight, otherwise I'll be back on Monday! (It's my little man's birthday tomorrow, so the new challenge details will have to wait! LOL!).

Beautiful creations, ladies. Lyn, I use book pages as backgrounds all the time, but had never thought of using magazines! Will have to give that a go :)

these are fantastic! I love the composition and the soft colours. They're both wonderful.
