I've finally got some shoes to show you!
First we have this sandal that was sent in by Fiona Shultz as inspiration for you guys to give the challenge a go: (Now that Fiona's my official Gothic Arch challenge helper, you'll still see her gorgeous creations every month, but they will be purely for your inspiration. :)).
Notes from Fiona:
"I began with some craft foam, and a shoe template from Stampington. The stamps are Heidi Grace “Reagan’s Closet” stamped in Stazon Black, and coloured with metallic gel pens. Carefully slice the craft foam for your ribbon and adhere under the shoe. Cut a second shoe from cardstock and adhere under the craft foam to make the shoe more solid. I added a handmade beaded flower for a bit of bling".
Great work Fiona!
Next we have our first official Shoe challenge entry - a very cute baby shoe by Vicky Fernando:
Vicky says:
"I used a template from HERE for the girl shoe".
"I started by printing out the template, cutting it and tracing it onto some caramel coloured cardstock. I then got some Brilliance inks in pearlescent crimson & pearlescent coral, and stamped the tiny flowers from THIS Darkroom Door set".
"I dried the images with my heat gun, and then stamped once more with Brilliance platinum, & covered the images with pewter embossing powder. I then trimmed the shoe shape & with the aid of my trusty sewing machine, ran a tiny stitch all around the edges. I then stuck the body to the bottom of the shoe, & added the velvet flower ribbon".
Lovely work Vicky!
Keep sending in those entries everyone!!
