If you'd like to help out in some way, here are some ideas:
* Donate to the Australian Red Cross New Zealand Earthquake 2011 Appeal to assist with the disaster relief. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
The funds raised through the New Zealand Earthquake 2011 appeal will be used to:
- Provide earthquake affected communities with emergency relief and recovery assistance
- Send specialist aid workers to assist in relief and recovery operations
- Support the work of New Zealand Red Cross in assisting people affected by this disaster.
* Donate directly to the "New Zealand Red Cross 2011 Earthquake Appeal" to support those affected by the recent Christchurch earthquake.
All funds will be used towards the New Zealand Red Cross response to the disaster, including transport and provision of goods.

* Crafters are getting together again for an online auction to raise funds for those affected. Louise Williams is gathering donations of goods and artworks to auction off.
