Introducing the new look challenge!

Hello stampers!

As you may or may not already know, I have decided to run Inkurable a bit differently from now on! We'll still be having monthly challenges, but instead of me uploading every entry onto the blog myself, it will now be up to you to add your entry to your blog/website/flickr page etc and leave a link here so we can all go and have a look at your awesomeness.

I'm trialling this new linking feature for the rest of this month, and if it goes well then we'll continue with it into the future! It's a really exciting change that will make it easier to see all the entries at a glance, and will hopefully send lots of new blog readers your way. It's a win win for both of us!

Please note - all the usual Inkurable rules still apply - it's just the way we view the entries that is changing.

So to get us started, and to familiarise ourselves with the new feature, we'll do a quick sketch challenge!

Here is your sketch, thanks to PageMaps:

Imagine the inky goodness!!

Your task is to create a stamped project based on the sketch above. It is up to you how you interpret the sketch - feel free to use it as is, or rotate the sketch to suit your card.

As always, any project is fine! Cards, Scrapbook pages, Canvases, Jewelery items, whatever you like! You are also free to use any products/mediums/techniques that you like. Just don't forget to use at least one stamp! :)

The deadline for this challenge is midnight (AEST) on 31st August 2011. Once your challenge entry is uploaded to your blog/website/flickr page etc, leave a direct link to the entry here in our new linking feature (just press the "add your link" button and away we go!):

Please make sure you link DIRECTLY to your challenge entry, and include a pic in the thumbnail - links that link to full blogs or flickr accounts will be removed.

If you have any problems using the linking tool, please let me know.

One winner will be drawn at random to receive a mystery prize! And I'll send a little something to the first person to submit their entry using the new feature. :)

Now go and get inky!!

I look forward to seeing what you create!

~Sarah~

Very easy to link Sarah :)

Much easier, better, simpler system - even though I haven't entered yet! Like Sue's card, might just link up & have a squiz at her blog, since I can!!!!

Thanks, Sarah - loved playing along and agree, this'll be much less work for you! Been such fun to play along again this morning, just hope that I did not take too many liberties with the sketch ;-)

I like the way the challenges are running - more streamlined and less burden on the hostess. Also nice to see all the links at one time. I'll try to play along with this one too.

Agree with all above, should be easier for you Sarah, more time for you to play ;-)
